I am running Windows 8 in vmware fusion 7.1.1 and after my macbook froze I can not start windows 8. I get an error meesage saying that:

Failed to start the virtual machine"

I have very important files and i need restore them. I used VMDKmounter to restore the data but it dose not work.
Please, help me if there is any way to restore the data.
