Have OSX 10.10.2 with wmware 7.1.1 standard (and tools installed) running Windows 10 build 9926. This did not occur with any other version of windows that was running (both Win7 & 8.1 ran fine).
I always run vmware in a single window & never in fusion; when I go to resize the window, the resolution within windows would also change to match pretty closely what the window would be displaying. However, now when the window layout is changed, it just shrinks or stretches the box without the resolution changing. This is extremely annoying when doing what I need windows for, it needs to remain at the highest level resolution as possible without distorting.
The second issue is that when I use the search button at the bottom, the box that comes up uses some kind of weird font with a black background which make sit nearly impossible to read - I'm not sure if this is linked to the resizing/resolution issue. All other fonts on the system work, except here. (pic below)
Does anyone have any ideas on this? I'm just not sure if it has to do with Windows 10 or the 7.1 version of vmware because I upgraded from version 5 at the same time.
