Okay, so I understand why VMWare Fusion won't use the suspend feature when dealing with a Boot Camp virtual machine, but it seems to me like Windows' built-in hibernation should offer a similar benefit, allowing me to boot Windows exactly as I left it (except when updates are applied).
Does anyone do things this way, and if so, what's the best way to enable it? Specifically, I'd like to hibernate by default, rather than having to remember to choose the option every time I shutdown (since I usually just use command-q to do it).
I'm using the Windows 10 technical preview at the moment (mostly for the resurrected start menu), but it's largely similar to Windows 8 under the hood. I'm also using VMWare Fusion 7.
