Will I be able to migrate my BootCamp partition as virtual disk to run elsewhere?

Hi, I'm really confused which option to install Windows 8 64Bit on my MacBook pro retina

I have 3 options BootCamp, or run BootCamp inside VMWare Fusion using virtual disk.

Or a third option, go full virtual disk (no bootcamp)

I know if I install using BootCamp I can either dual boot with Mac OS, OR using Fusion I can run it inside the Mac like a virtual machine.

Now I have enough disk space to do either, However my concerns are as follows,

If I go the BootCamp route

1 - In the event I need more disk space in the Windows 8 partition, and I'm running the BootCamp in Fusion, can I supplement by adding an additional hard disk in the VM settings?

2 - Will Fusion allow the Windows bootcamp partition to be portable, that is can I conver to virtual disk and copy it to another machine like a PC and load it up in another VMWare instance  like VMWare Player?

I am mainly intending the use the Windows 8 partition for working (mostly software development), not gaming.  So applications like Office365, Visual Studio 2012.

I will need to run various emulators in the Windows partition so I'm guessing BootCamp will be faster, but I have tested the emulator in Fusion as a nested VM and it is very useable, not as fast as my desktop, but acceptable for me.

But my main questions are the portability and disk space comparisions of both options.

Thansk for any advice
