I am having an issue with a VDI Conversion that I have completed (VirtualBox to VMWare). I performed the following on the VDI file:
VBoxManage clonehd /location/ARE.vdi /location/are.vmdk --format VMDK
Everything looks good, and it completed with no issues. I loaded the image into VMWare fusion, and it started with no issues. The problem that I am having is the size of the Virtual Disk. The VDI appliance was built with a 10GB HDD. When I attempt to increase the HDD size in VMWare I have some issues. First, it shows that I have increased the HDD to 50 GB (which I did) and it shows in the settings of the VM. Second, once the VM is loaded and running it still shows a disk size of 10GB.
Did I do something wrong, or do I have to change the size of the HDD before converting to a VMDK? I am unsure of how to increase the size on the machine, but any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.
