Problems with Mavericks & Cannot get support

Hello everyone,

Sorry for posting this here, i hope someone from vmware customer support will read this because i just cannot figure out how to contact them.

I'm experiencing problems with vmware fusion 5.

My machine is an iMac 21,5" mid-2011 (Processor  2,7 GHz Intel Core i5, 8 GB 1067 MHz DDR3, AMD Radeon HD 6770M 512 MB, OS X 10.9 (13A603)). My guest OS is Windows 7.

Everything was working well up until recently when i installed OSX Mavericks. First, i lost network connection within Windows 7, but after searching online for help i figured out how to fix that.

The other problem (unresolved) is about connecting USB HDD or USB stick to windows 7 - usually when i plugged hdd or stick, i was given a choice to connect it to OSX, or to connect it to Windows. That doesn't happen any more, now usb device automatically gets connected to host OSX, without dialog.

I was searching for help online and i came upon this KB article: VMware KB:    Connecting an external hard drive to a Fusion virtual machine. It says (in step 3): "Go to Virtual Machine> USB & Bluetooth (Fusion 4.x and later) / USB (Fusion 3.x and earlier) > Connect <name of hard drive>.". I'm unable to do that because there is no such an option there (as you can see in attached screenshot).

Then i tried to contact vmware customer support and inform them of this problem, but my product was not listed and i couldn't proceed. The only possible reason for that is that i forgot to register my license (not sure about that). So i tried to do that now, but this link is dead: Registering a license key in My VMware (2011177). I found that link on this page: http://kb.vmware.com/selfservice/microsites/search.do?language=en_US&cmd=displayKC&externalId=2009213&plainview=true

I also couldn't find any e-mail address to contact you directly. I don't understand why is it so complicated to get in touch with CS, i lost at least an hour trying to find a way to contact them.

Thank you!

PS. I cannot afford vmware Fusion 6 at this moment.
