First, in case it matters at all, I have a 2011 Mac Mini (2.3GHz I5, 16GB DDR3, SSD, Intel HD Graphics 3000 512 MB, OS X 10.8.5) and I'm running VMware Fusion v4.1.4 with a Windows 7 VM.
I recently got a Silicon Dust HDHomerun Prime tuner and I'm trying to get the Windows Media Center to work with it on my Win 7 VM, but it keeps failing the Digital Cable Advisor check because "the video card or driver doesn't support content protection".
Seems to be an issue with the VMware Virtual SVGA 3D driver but I haven't found any solutions to this yet.
Does anyone know if there is a way to load an Intel driver in or something that the DCA will pass as able to work with the tuner? Any info is appreciated.
