Fusion 6.0.2 on OSX 10.9.2. Why does bootcamp and exfat partition disappear from OSX when booting VM?

Hi

When I start fusion and run my win7 VM the bootcamp partition and another exFAT partition I have disappears from OSX. I can see the reason for it to "hide" the bootcamp partition but why does my exFAT partition that I'd hoped to use as a shared partition between Win and OSX disappear?
