I recently had a VM go bad (OS X won't boot. It just sits on the spinning spokes). The VM is only doing one thing, serving a license so it will be easy to replace but when I create a new VM I'm having trouble duplicating the MAC address from the original. I've followed the steps regarding editing the .vmx file, but every time I boot into the vm it reverts back to the originally assigned MAC address. Any ideas on how I can get that change to stick? Thanks.
