I have a Windows Small Business Server (2008) as our primary server for all those fancy MS Windows needs we have (mostly Exchange). I also use two Mac Mini's to host other needs including virtual systems with Fusion to host application servers.
I'm curious about putting another Server 2008 system into Virtual production to be another DC to simply help with AD needs (logins for windows PCs) when the SBS is not available. I seem to read a few concerns with the amount of writes that a DC/AD machine can do not being great for VM especially on SSDs. With that said I know many businesses run VMware Sphere products for such needs in enterprise systems.
I'm curious to anyones experience with a Fusion VM running on OSX but the guest system being Windows Server acting as a DC (as a 2nd DC).
