I am working on my Esxi 5.5 home lab and using VM Fusion Professional on Mac, and Workstation 10 on Windows. I am setting up Domain Controller on Windows Server 2008, and vCenter Server and Esxi host on Mac Fusion Pro 6. When I am using Bridge connection, I can join the Domain, everything seems fine. However, I could not get my vCenter Server join to the domain when I create a private network. Let me give you my setting, so you know what I am talking about:
Windows Server 2008 Workstation:
custom network: Host only
+++Domain Controller
+++SQL Server
Mac VM Fusion Pro 6 ( edit the vmnet3 to host only )
+++ vCenter Server
+++ ESXi host
And my physical network is 10.0.x.x
Anyone have an idea how to set this up. I got stuck here and really frustrated. I don't want to spend money for another PC
