If one has to open and close VMWare between Mac reboots, the Mac file cache memory grows to an unmanageable level, making the Mac slower than necessary. One either has to restart the Mac each time VMWare is closed, or run 'sudo purge' in Terminal to clear the file cache memory. Why doesn't VMWare simply initiate the sudo purge command upon closing and save the hassle and poor performance from occurring?
