Using fusion like a 'workstation server' ?

Hi folks,

at home I'm running an ESXi with several VMs. When I'm abroad I'm working with this VMs which I copied before leaving to Fusion. But, I get rid of moving the VMs from ESXi to Fusion an back after a trip finished.

From VMware Workstation I know there is a "Workstation Server" mode which allows a remote Workstation on machine A to access Workstation VMs on machine B. It's similar like starting a VM from Vmware vSphere Client on an ESXi server and then connecting to this VM from within vSphere Client. So RDP or VNC clients aren't needrf because the connection can be made native form VMware vSphere Client.

So my question is if there is a way to directly acces the VM running on Mac / Fusion from another machine, let's say Windows. What I didn't want to do is to start a VNC remote session to the Mac and access the Fusion VM via VNC session running on Mac.

Any idea if it is possible what I'd like to do and if so, how? I'm running Fusion 6.0.4.

Thanks in advance and greetinx
