Smooth two finger scrolling in Linux

Hi,

I have an ArchLinux VM with the latest version of GNOME (3.12) and Linux (3.16.1) at date in a VMware Fusion 6.0.3. I also have installed the package "open-vm-tools" and enabled "vmtoolsd" daemon, and installed the  "xf86-input-vmmouse" package.

The VM works absolutely great, my only problem is that the two finger scrolling is not smooth (note that Gtk+ 3 applications present in GNOME supports smooth touchpad scrolling events), it seems that the driver is trying to simulate a mouse wheel when I do a two finger scrolling, but it needs very long and fast gestures to react.

Is there a way to enable smooth scrolling capabilities in VMware (like OSX or Synaptics one)?
