I have previously been running an XP virtual machine with VMware Fusion 4 on my 2011 27" iMAC 32GB ram, SSD. I have some software that doesn't work properly on an OS after XP but would fly along quicker than on the PC in Fusion4. On upgrading to Yosemite I was forced to upgrade to Fusion7, this software is now running painfully slow and is pretty much unusable.
Does anyone know if there are any settings I can change to get back to my old speed, maybe something that the upgrade from fusion4 to 7 may have messed up, or anything else I can do??.
