Anyone have any info on plans for newer Mac Pro GPU passthrough for fusion?

Im hoping the engineers at VMware are working on this but I can't get a straight answer about VT-D support or if its even a possibility in the future. I guess the nvidia macbook's have a special API or something. Id really like to be able to load up some crossfire drivers in a windows VM. I know that installing ESXi on your hard drive works but I don't want to do that. I just want to learn how to write CL C programs in a cozy Linux VM and maybe try some cool windows programs out. Plus doesn't running ESXi require you buy V-Sphere? And isn't that real expensive? I love fusion for the reason that Im safe to mess everything up and not deal with a ton of configuration work. The last thing I want is a complicated hypervisor to manage. Anyone know something about this?? Im talking about a late 2013 mac pro. Dual AMD GPU's. Thanks
