I upgraded from Fusion 6 to 7 last night to fix a problem with an Ubuntu VM, went to test my Windows 8.1 VM and it fails straight after attempting to login with "The Local Session Manager Service failed the sign-in. The RPC Server attempted an integer division by zero".
I've read of that error in this forum but the suggestion is to boot into safe mode. I've tried that many times now and the only screen I can get to via F8 or shift F8 while booting is a set of options to reset Windows or fix the disk. No sign of safe mode.
I'd appreciate any suggestions please, it takes a lot of attempts to even get to the screen mentioned.
I have an early 2013 retina MacBook Pro running Yosemite. And unfortunately a great steaming turd of Fusion 7 ;-D
