NAT with static IP in a new private interface

I have a new network created in VMWARE through Preferenceres->Network -> Add. This is a internal network, with a assigned IP range and with NAT enabled to permit the

access to outside through nat client. I have deploy a virtual machine attached to this new network with static ip. The NAT  doesn't work. If I modify the dhcpd.conf to always

assign the same IP to the virtual machine, but if I don't launch a DHCP request in the virtual machine, VMWARE doesn't open the NAT rules.

Is it possible to deploy a virtual machine with static ip address  in a this kind of configuration?. How can I add the missing nat rules to force the vmware to translate the static nat address ?

Thanks in advance
