Locked out my Windows 8.1 VM

Hey guys,

I'm in the midst of working on a big project for school. A couple hours ago windows unexpectedly restarted itself and did a bunch of updates. When it restarted I was greeted to a login screen with an outlook account and a password field. The outlook account is one I made at school on the fly to use visual studio, for some reason I didn't put my actual information or phone number in when I signed up for the account. I tried all my passwords that I normally use, and I tried trouble-shooting my outlook account, but because I didn't put any real information in when I signed up, I can't reset my password. I've been researching this for a couple hours and all I've found is information about how to get past a local account, not an online (outlook) account.

I really need to get the folder containing my project off the desktop, but since I can't get past the login screen I feel like there's no hope.

Is there any way to access the files from my virtual machine through the file system on my host machine? Is there a way to reset the password or get into my account through Fusion?
